Comparing the Miele Cat & Dog with the Callisto

 

Before you purchase the Miele Cat and Dog we think you should take a close look at the Miele Callisto.

 

Here are the differences between the two vacuums:

 

Casing:  The Callisto uses the new S5 Body which includes the double casing for quieter performance and the honeycomb grill for advanced heat dispitation off the motor.  The Cat & Dog has the older S500 series casing.

 

Filter:  The Cat & Dog comes with the carbon filter which is ideal for odor removal.  The Callisto comes with the HEPA filter for better particle filtration including better pet dander filtration.

 

Floor Tools:  Both vacuums come with the 217 model floor attachment.  The Cat and Dog also comes with the combo tool which is for both hardwood and carpeting.  The Callisto comes with the Parquet tool which specializes in hard floor cleaning.

 

Addtional Accessories:  The Cat & Dog also includes the Handheld Turbobrush which is not included with the Callisto.

 

Our recommendation if you are looking at the Cat & dog is to consider upgrading to the Callisto and adding the handheld turbobrush.  If you do you will spend $20 more for a vacuum based on the new casing, have better filtration, and a more practical floor tool.
