Description

The Miele S2 Capri Vacuum features rotary dial controls and two separate tools for cleaning bare floors and low to medium pile carpeting. An air driven floor tool gently combs through the carpets and the Parquet-3 floor tool is safe and effective on all smooth surfaces.

Our recommendation: Great for use on bare floors, area rugs, and low pile carpets.

	A Super Air Clean Filter This filter performs at 99.95% removal of particles down to 0.5 of a micron and 94% of particles down to 0.3 of a micron. You may upgrade to the ACC-30 Charcoal filter for odor control or the AH-30 HEPA filter for 99.99% particle removal down to 0.3 of a micron.
	GN Airclean Dust Bags 4.8 qt GN Airclean Dustbags are made with 9 layers of filtration, Miele's Dust Bags are the envy of other manufactures. The reinforced stitching prevents the bags from breaking or rupturing while the auto sealing opening prevents any accidental spilling when you remove the bag. An orange slide will appear when there is a loss in suction, usually this will mean that it is time for your bag to be changed as shown in the mouseover view on the left.
	Rotary Dial Controls Suction on this model is controlled by turning the dial positioned on the base of the machine. Six variable settings allow you to adjust the 1200 watt Vortex Motor System™, to the level of suction you desire for your flooring.
	Footswitch Cord Rewind and Power On/off The power on the Miele Capri is turned on or off via a footswitch located on the base of the machine. Simply press this button with your foot to quickly and easily toggle between these options.
	Long Retractable Cord A footswitch is located on the base of the vacuum to enable the automatic cord rewind. It is recommended that you guide the cord in by providing slight resistance and prevent it to forcefully rewind. By doing this you will help with the longevity of the part.
	Tubular Handle With the S2 Capri is a lightweight ergonomic handle that has a release valve that lets you adjust the suction. Attachments are connected at the end of the tubular handle when the wand is removed.
	Telescoping Wand with Quick Connect System The stainless steel telescopic wand provides an adjustable length from 24" to 40 3/4". To adjust the length there is a push button on the side of the wand where the two sections meet, depress that button and you will be able to push/pull the two ends away/closer from each other until you have the desired length. Straight suction tools are attached and secured in at the end of the wand. No electronic or motorized floor tools are compatible with this wand system.
	Crush Resistant Hose Just like the vacuum, the hose is created to last. Strong, yet resilient, the hose is crush resistant and securely connects to the machine. The hose and the connection have been thoroughly tested by Miele to withstand the demands of constant home use.
	Airdriven Turbo Tool (STB205-3) As shown on the mouseover view this floor tool is equipped with a brushbar that is propelled by the airspeed passing through the tool. This tool is best used on low to medium pile carpeting. It attaches to the wand via the Direct Connect system, and has a slide located on the top of the floor tool to adjust the speed of the brushbar. This tool is optimal for low to medium pile rugs and carpeting.
	Parquet-3 Bare Floor tool This floor tool is made with soft bristles for safe and effective cleaning on all smooth floor surfaces. A pivoting neck makes this tool navigable and easy to use, while the large air channel picks up large debris.
	Included Accessories Standard on the S2 Series Miele Canister vacuums is the VarioClip™ storage of the included accessories. These accessories include; the natural bristle dusting brush, upholsetry nozzle, and crevice tool.
	Two Integrated Wand Holders When not in use you can connect the wand to either the back or the bottom of the machine making it easy to store or move the machine.
	Large Carrying Handle To move this machine from room to room, the Polaris is designed with a large handle on the base of the canister. Near this handle is the clip that is lifted to access the bag on the inside of the canister.
	360 Degree Wheels The easy gliding, full range of motion wheels allow you to vacuum with maximum balance and maneuverability. The wheels even have raised gliders on both sides of the wheel to help you overcome objects such as cords or to transition between floor types.
