The Miele S2 Delphi is an excellent choice for homes with primarily carpeting on their floors. With the motorized floor tool the Delphi will have enough cleaning ability to thorough clean carpets in homes even with pets. This lightweight and durable canister vacuum also has superior suction via the 1200 watt Vortex motor.

Our recommendation: Ideal for homes with carpeting. Consider upgrading the motorized floor tool if you have thicker carpeting.

	Active Clean Air Filter Included The Active Clean Filter combined with the Airclen bags creates an effective cleaning system that will outperform most vacuums as it captures 94% of all particles as small as .03 microns. 	Rotary Dial Power Controls With six dial controlled power settings you have optimal control of the suction level to adjust it to the task at hand. At the highest setting you have a vacuum that has industry leading suction. You even have the choice of a Quiet Setting that balances performance and noise.
	Foot Activated Controls A simple tap of the foot will easily retract the cord while the opposite foot control will turn the vacuum on or off.
	Long Retractable Cord With the cord fully extended you will have an operating radius of almost thirty feet. When you are done cleaning simply tap the foot activated retraction pedal and the cord disappears into the machine.
	Included Accessories The Miele Olympus comes with the upholstery tool, crevice tool and dusting brush. These tools use the new VarioClip storage system to ride at where the hose connects to the machine. Put your mouse over the image to the left to see an additional picture of the accessories.
	Motorized Floor Tool The S2 Delphi comes with the SEB-217 motorized floor tool. Powered by the powerful Miele Vortex motor this floor too will work well on most carpeting. 	Deluxe Handle The Delphi includes the deluxe handle for ease of use and includes the on/off switch for the brushbar to quickly toggle the two options.

	GN AirCleanDust Bags With 9 layers of filtration Miele's Dust Bags are the envy of other manufactures. The reinforced stitching prevents the bags from breaking or tearing while the auto sealing opening prevents any accidental spillage when you remove the bag. The perfect complement to an already ideal vacuum. When the bag is ready to be changed an orange tab will start to appear. 	Crush Resistant Hose Just like the vacuum the hose is create to last. Durable yet flexible the hose is crush resistant and securely attaches to the machine. 	360 Degree Wheels The easy gliding full range of motion wheels allow you to vacuum with maximum stability and maneuverability. The wheels even have raised gliders on both sides of the wheel to help you manuever over objects such as cords or to transition between floor types.
	Large Carrying Handle The spacious handle makes it easy to carry the lightweight Olympus around. In the picture to the left above the handle you can see the quick release clasp that opens the vacuum lid to gain access to the dust bag.
